Thank you so much for helping support my project! The kids will be so excited when all our new resources start coming in!

I am so excited to start using all these books and resources with the kids and seeing how much it helps improve their reading and writing!

  • Signed, Sealed, Delivered into a New School Year!

    Funded Aug 9, 2022

Thank you so much to everyone who helped contribute to this project! My students are so excited to have all the tools they need to have a successful school year!

We have a much more organized classroom with our brand new mailboxes! They are strong enough that it will definitely be a staple in my classroom for many future students to use! The kids have been taking advantage of the construction paper and have been making many crafts! Our classroom is a colorful place filled with all their artwork.

Thank you again for giving my students a warm environment to learn and grow this school year!”

  • Help Us Color Our World!

    Funded Aug 12, 2021

The donations from all the generous people have made such a positive impact on our classroom. The students have been loving the carpet. The kids have been remote for a lot of last year, so having a place for them all to sit and socialize has been great. We enjoy doing read aloud's where the kids can sit in a circle and listen to a favorite book. They have also been enjoying all the colored resources that have been supplied by our new color printer! We haven't head to change the ink once! The TPT gift card has also allowed us access to so many hands-on resources that make learning even more fun!

On behalf of my class, we say a big Thank You to everyone who contributed!”

  • A Little Virus Isn't Going to Stop Us!

    Funded May 5, 2020

My students were thrilled when they started receiving packages to their houses! I was luckily able to view on camera them opening up their supplies and it was such a bright spot in some really tough months of teaching!

It was tough trying to figure out how exactly to make remote learning fun and interactive. Having these whiteboards and markers has been a game-changer! We use them all the time to answer questions and add illustrations. They were such a hit with my class last school year, that I was able to use them again this year of remote learning!

The other biggest plus was the math manipulatives. Giving them that hands-on learning even while being home has been huge!

I received some really touching messages from parents who said that receiving the snacks was a help in their houses!

This couldn't have been accomplished without every donors help!!”

  • Kicking The Year Off With a Bang

    Funded Aug 13, 2019

We are so excited to share what we've been doing with all these great materials! The books have been a great addition to the classroom library! Since we can't read just yet, students are learning about picking books that they think might be interesting to them. I want to start their love of reading as soon as possible! We've also been learning a lot about being responsible. Each student needs to make sure that their chair pocket is neat and that they use their mailbox.

The students were so excited that first day of school getting to walk into a classroom that was all ready for them to learn! They liked getting to walk around and see that they already had a mailbox labeled with their own name.

We are still learning our letters and what sounds they make, but I bet that as soon as we start putting those sounds together and forming words, our library will be a big hit with the students wanting to chose from all the diverse books!

Thanks you again to everyone who helped kick off this school year with a bang!”

  • We Need The Tools To Grow!

    Funded Jan 25, 2018

The students were so excited when they walked into the classroom seeing a brand new carpet and chart board. They immediately ran to the carpet and rolled around. You would think there was a bucket of puppies sitting there for how excited they were. Our new whiteboard/chart stand was next. The kids clamored to be able to use dry erase markers and add their own art work.

We put the new chart stand to use the very next day. In social studies, we started a unit on different helpers in our community. We made an anchor chart together listing all the different community helpers. Having a way to give the students some extra visual aid has been such a big success. We have also been using the chart stand during math. Because we have three different grades in one room, we do a lot of working in groups. Having a board that can be easily moved around the room has been great. As soon as one group is finished with it, we move it on to the next group.

Thank you to everyone that had contributed to my project! I can't wait to put this carpet and chart stand to use for years to come!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Wagner

Even though my students have a positive attitude towards learning, they need the tools to make this happen! Having a large rug in the room would help make the room more acoustically sound for students with a hearing loss. They will have the best chance at hearing everything that is happening around them. The chart stand and paper would help provide the visuals that are necessary in helping deaf/hard of hearing students learn. Because they may not be able to hear all the information, they heavily rely on visual learning. Being able to surround them with pictures and vocabulary will be key in building their knowledge!
