  • Writing Tools

    Funded Feb 25, 2025

Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting our "Writing Tools" project! The excitement in my classroom was undeniable when my students first saw the new materials. They couldn't wait to start using the fresh notebooks, colorful pens, and other supplies. One student eagerly said, "I finally have everything I need to write my best story!"—a testament to how much these tools mean to them. With these resources, we recently completed a creative writing project where students crafted their own short stories, focusing on brainstorming, drafting, and revising with confidence.

Looking ahead, these writing tools will continue to inspire our students as they dive into poetry, journaling, and research projects. Having quality supplies has not only made writing more enjoyable but has also encouraged students to take pride in their work. Your generosity has truly made a difference, and we are so grateful for your support in nurturing the next generation of writers!”

  • Testing Day Snacks

    Funded Feb 27, 2025

Our students were thrilled when they saw the snacks generously provided by our donors! The excitement in the classroom was contagious as they eagerly looked through the Oreos, Snapples, and other treats. Knowing that they have something special to look forward to on testing days has already boosted their morale. Testing can be a stressful time, but these snacks serve as both a motivator and a comfort, helping to ease their anxiety. The students are incredibly grateful, and their smiles said it all when they realized they would have these delicious treats to enjoy during such an important time.

As we approach testing in April, we are so thankful for these thoughtful contributions. Having these snacks on hand allows students to focus on doing their best without worrying about hunger or stress. The Oreos, their absolute favorite, and the refreshing Snapples have been a huge hit! This support not only provides a sense of encouragement but also reinforces the idea that they are valued and cared for. We truly appreciate the generosity of our donors, and our students are looking forward to making the most of these resources as they take on their assessments with confidence!”

  • Positivity Project

    Funded Nov 18, 2024

Thanks to your generosity, my 6th-grade students had an incredible experience reaching a classroom goal and celebrating with a special activity—making bracelets for themselves and their classmates! When they first saw the materials, their faces lit up with excitement. Many of them hadn't done something like this since they were little, and it was such a joy to see their creativity come to life.

This project not only allowed them to express themselves but also reinforced the importance of perseverance and teamwork. Seeing their pride in completing their bracelets and sharing them with each other was truly heartwarming.

Next, we plan on spreading even more kindness by making bracelets for our teachers in February. This will be a wonderful way for students to show appreciation and continue practicing their fine motor skills and creativity.

Thank you for making moments like this possible in our classroom!”

  • Educational Incentives

    Funded May 22, 2024

We've been using the new resources to celebrate our students' achievements every Friday. It's been a joy to see their excitement as they receive these well-deserved incentives. These celebrations recognize their hard work and dedication throughout the week, helping to motivate them to continue giving their best effort.

When my students first saw the materials, they were so happy and excited! Many shared that they rarely get rewards like these, especially as 6th graders. It reminded me how important it is to celebrate their efforts and accomplishments, regardless of their age—it shows them that their hard work matters and is noticed.

The next steps in our classroom are to help students reflect on the purpose of rewards and why they shouldn't always be expected. We'll be working on a project where students list reasons why rewards can be beneficial, both for motivation and recognition, and explore how they can set and achieve goals independently. This will help reinforce the value of intrinsic motivation alongside external rewards.”

  • End of Year Celebration

    Funded Jul 2, 2024

We used the snacks you provided, like Oreos and chips, to create a joyful and memorable end-of-year celebration for the students. As soon as they saw the snacks, their faces lit up with excitement, knowing that a fun celebration was in store. The snacks were a highlight of the event, making the day even more special as they shared treats with their friends and reflected on their achievements throughout the year.

One specific moment that stood out was when students, while enjoying their snacks, took turns expressing gratitude for the friendships and memories they had made. This simple act of sharing food created a warm, communal atmosphere that brought everyone closer together.

Looking ahead, the next steps for our students involve reflecting on the lessons they've learned and setting goals for the upcoming year. This celebration, with the help of your generous donation, has not only provided a sweet ending to the school year but also energized them for the challenges and successes that lie ahead.”

  • Classroom Organization

    Funded Feb 7, 2024

With our new classroom organization resources, my students and I have been able to streamline our learning environment and implement effective organizational systems. Students take turns using the new storage bins and labels to tidy up our classroom, ensuring that materials are easily accessible and our space remains organized. This initiative not only promotes responsibility and teamwork. Students began brainstorming ideas for how to best utilize the resources to keep our classroom tidy and efficient.”

  • Reading Seats

    Funded Sep 11, 2023

Thank you for your support in providing reading seats for our classroom! The new resources have transformed our reading corner into a cozy and inviting space where students can immerse themselves in books and engage in meaningful literacy activities.

When my students first saw the new reading seats, their eyes lit up, and they couldn't wait to test them out. They eagerly selected books from our classroom library and settled into the seats, immediately immersing themselves in their chosen stories. As we move forward with our current classroom lesson on narrative writing they will use the comfortable reading seats as a designated space for quiet reflection and creative thinking. By integrating the reading seats into our writing process, I aim to create a supportive and inspiring environment that nurtures students' literacy skills.”

  • Computer Charging Station

    Funded Feb 7, 2024

Technology in our classrooms enhances learning by providing interactive and engaging experiences. It fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity among our students.

The most exciting aspect of the new product for our students is its convenience. The computer charging station ensures that their devices are always powered up and ready to use. They appreciate the ease of access and the ability to stay connected and productive throughout the day. Additionally, some students have taken on leadership roles by helping to maintain and organize the charging station, fostering responsibility in our classroom.”
