  • Learning Through Storylines in Earth and Space Science!

    Thank you for allowing the opportunity for students to explore Earth and Space Sciences through the use of storylines by asking questions that will spark imagination and new interests in the world around them. Having access to Teachers Pay Teachers ensured that our ESS team started the year off to a strong start with developing lessons anchored in storylines and the various Post-it notes and flip charts allowed for students to record their questions and guide their thinking as they explored volcanoes.”

    Thank you for helping support my students and by providing us with tools to help us communicate in meaningful ways in our engineering classes! We have been taking advantage of all the supplies to help us develop solutions to real-world problems and communicate through the use of color as we concept sketch, feedback with sticky notes as we do gallery walks to highlight our solutions, and brainstorm with our whiteboards.These supplies have already and will continue to make a big difference all year long.   • Measuring-Up Success in Engineering Class!

    Thank you for helping support my students and by providing us with tools to measure linear distances and time! We have been taking advantage of all the supplies to help us develop accurate measurements of our solutions to solve real-world problems along with transferring those measurements into our CAD software. These tools are helping to prepare the students in my class to become more work and world ready as being able to properly measure is such a valuable skill.     Thank you for helping support my students and by providing us tissues, Lysol wipes, and Dial hand soap! We have been taking advantage of all the supplies to help us not spread germs and have been sharing with other classrooms nearby to make sure that we are taking care of our students at LHS at all times. You have been able to ensure that all nearby rooms have tissues and wipes to clean desks. Many students have brought home the Dial hand soap to help keep and stay healthy at home.   • Communicating and Saying "Thank You" in Engineering

    Wow! Thank you again so much for your donation! It has already been making a huge difference with my engineering classes and the other engineering classes at my school.

    We have been able to provide many students with writing utensils which has been invaluable as we get this school year up and running and some students have taken advantage of the thank you cards already and have been able to write thank you notes to teachers that had a positive impact on them last year through remote and distance learning.

    Thank you for helping my students especially with this year's cold has been incredibly rough regarding the cold and flu. Students and teachers alike have been absent with flu-like symptoms on scale larger than anything I've seen since becoming a teacher. And now with the pandemic COVID-19 virus, these supplies are more important than ever and have to the potential to make a real difference.

    The items from this project will provide some peace of mind to the students and faculty, knowing that there are resources to help prevent the spread of bacteria and viruses.

    Wow! Thank you so much for your generous donation! As my students learn about circuits and electricity, they will be able to get hands on experience as they learn by doing and exploring. With these supplies, my engineering students build with breadboards, LEDs, resistors, wires and collect data and information with multimeters, it will help create meaning and a better understanding of how circuits work.
