Feeling at Peace in Our Seats!
Funded Sep 29, 2022This year our mission was to create a loving and beautiful environment for our students. After the pandemic, we have seen such a rise in behavior problems, emotional distress and just plain anxiety from our students. We realize that students spent so much time in school and we want to have a classroom that is inviting and beautiful. With your gifts we were able to create a classroom that is warm and helps students feel calm. It is a home away from home.
As I showed my students the wonderful supplies you sent us, their eyes lit up. One unexpected reward of this was to see those eyes with such excitement. Many of my students live in poverty and they never expected for others to care and be as generous as you have been. It truly was a great moment. As you can tell by the notes, they are very thankful.
With many bulletin boards to come and new projects in the horizon, many of the supplies you sent will continue to be used in our classroom. Our upcoming writing, will be displayed on the beautiful paper you sent us.”
With gratitude,

This classroom project was brought to life by An Anonymous Classroom Supporter and 2 other donors.High Sky Reading with Chapter Books!
Funded Dec 19, 2011One of the greatest moments in my life as a teacher was the moment that I informed my students of your gracious donation. Your donation has given my students the ability to excel and enjoy their reading. They appreciate all the different varieties of books. The books are used by all my students from beginner to advanced readers. Not only are the books used by my students during their independent reading time, but the books are used as read a louds and used to practice reading skills with the whole class.
As an ESL class my students struggled with their reading and because of that were not very motivated to read. In our school, we practice a reading program called Accelerated Reader. In this program students are encouraged to read by assigning them with reading levels and points which they accumulate by taking comprehension quizzes. This year our goal was to become a "Model" and eventually "Master" classroom. This means that all our students met their goal points and maintained a 90% average based on their reading level. Your donation was instrumental in helping our class achieve this goal. Ours was the first 3rd grade class in our school to make both Model and Master classroom.
There are no words that can easily explain our gratitude and appreciation for your kindness. My students, my school and I thank you for your dedication and help. We could not have reached our goal without you. ”

Teachers In Need of Copier... Emergency!!!
Funded Mar 29, 2008I cannot express my gratitude for your gracious gift. I have to confess I was losing hope of getting the copier but then I received the email and I was ecstatic. It will be so beneficial for all my students and other teachers. This copier gives us the ability to provide better tools and resources for my students. Lessons will be more interactive and fun. There will be no more waiting or hoping to get copies on time. I am extremely thankful and happy that the copier was funded. Myself and my students will be eternally grateful.
Thank you,
