Thank you so much for our brand new supplies. It has really been a game changer to have these new stamps and stickers. My students are able to stay focused and engaged in the lesson. My schedule is jam packed and having these little tricks up my sleeve really alleviates some of the pressure of planning. These little tools really make a big impact on my day. It really helps to have these new tools right at my fingertips so that a little bit of stress has been lifted off of my shoulders. I have even shared some of my stash with other teachers in the building so they thank you as well.”

Thank you so much for our brand new supplies for Financial Literacy. There has been a new initiative in the district to teach Financial Literacy. I have struggled to find resources and stay up to date with all the new things that we need to teach. Thank you so much for this camera. It is going to be such a game changer in our classroom. I felt like a little kid myself when the package arrived. I ripped through the Amazon box and smiled from ear to ear. I am so excited to capture all of the amazing work we do in our classroom. I think it will also be a great tool to create other works of art as well. I feel so charged with artistic energy. I cannot wait to see all the interesting new ways we can use our brand new camera in our classroom. I can create labels for the students to know where they sit and what center they belong to.”

Thank you so much for helping spread joy. These chair pockets will really help us stay organized and ready to work. Students can rapidly go from lesson to lesson with quick transitions with this storage system in place. They were so excited to attach each chair pocket to their desks today. They each have their own space to contain all their tools and materials. It really cuts down on the scrambling around. My students are learning a life long lesson of becoming more orderly. I really thank you for this blessing.”

Thank you so much for keeping our classroom stay stocked and ready. It has been a blessing to provide water to the children especially after recess and gym class when they need a little extra hydration after so much physical activity. They also have a dance class after which all the students feel a little parched. It has been great to provide fresh water and a variety of tasty snacks to see my students healthy and happy. I know these snack breaks are so important for my students who come to school early for the morning program and stay late for the evening programs and activities.”

It has been a blessing to provide water to the children especially after recess and gym class when they need a little extra hydration after so much physical activity. They also have a dance class after which all the students feel a little parched. It has been great to provide fresh water instead of seeing them use the water fountain that is a spreader of germs and I am not to certain that the quality of the water from the fountain is too healthy. The bottled water gives me more peace of mind.”

Thank you so much for helping my female students feel empowered. I know that a lot of families in our district struggle with providing our students with their basic needs. Certain programs cover food and diapers but fall short with covering for feminine hygiene products. We also have the "pink" tax in which female products get marked up. I know one case that the family struggled to afford pads for their teenage daughter so they put her in pull-up diapers instead because it was what their food stamps could cover. My heart bleed with that story and that is why I make sure that I find opportunities like this one to get pads for the students. I share them with other teachers and the school nurse so that we can distribute them to the students that need it.”
Thank you so much for giving our classroom micron pens. I cannot wait to share all the amazing next projects my amazing, talented, imaginative, and highly motivated students come up with next. They truly inspire me to work on my own art. I feel so blessed working with children that remind me to still be creative. I love using micron pens and watercolors. It's art that can be created anywhere with little set up and clean up. I know my students will really love working with these new materials in the art room.”
With the help of donors, we can provide basic art supplies to the art room. We want to provide the tools for students to be able to learn and explore in and out of the classroom. We want to provide a quality education for each child. Through the arts, students build their creativity, critical thinking skills, self-esteem, and explore hidden talents. Students also need an outlet, a form of self-expression. We also want to beautify our school with student work in every hallway. We want to make the school a hub for the community where students and parents can attend art shows, after school programs, and other community functions.
