The books I have chosen for this project are best sellers and culturally diverse in order to foster an interest in reading for all of my students. Whether it's poetry, comics, or novels, my new library will have something for everyone. Graphic novels of popular, age-appropriate novels, such as A Wrinkle in Time and Black Panther, are engaging for reluctant and struggling readers. Additionally, I have included books that incorporate a range of topics and themes that students deal with regularly: moving to a new country, fitting in, loss of a friend or family member, social and cultural acceptance, and more.
