    We are deeply touched and honored by your donation. Your donation has allowed us to have the printable resources we need on a daily basis. We are able to print our resources in color, which helps us to differinate and scaffold student work. We love the ability to print resources when we need it. We have used this donation to: print teacher created worksheets, print our math word wall, make copies of student work, print our goal sheets, and so much more, printable game for our center time, and so much more.   • Classroom Printer and Ink Supplies

    I would like to thank you for the generous donation. This donation has allowed me to print out resources for differinated instruction and anchor charts to support student learning. I use color coordination to help organize math thinking and now students can have color copies ready and available for them. Another benefit is not having to be greeted in the morning with an "out of order" sign. In a building with only 2 copy machine and 2 computers available for printing, it is a breath of fresh air to have your own printer. I thank you for being part of our learning experience and helping to impact our students.”

    This project has made a HUGE impact during our guided math group time and 1:1 conference time. I am able to have access to Google translate for my English Language Learners to help us communicate more efficiently. This project also allows me to take conference notes and have access to student progress with a simple click. I am then able to use that data to formulate targeted instruction that will meet the needs of my students. Students enjoy the visual learning and the ability to have that visual during guided group time. We thank you for your donations and support for student learning!”

  • Flexible Seating

    We thank you for donating to this project. We now have a great space where students can gather and work together in partnerships. Instead of sitting at their desks all day, we now have a flexible seating area for students to engage in student discourse, small group projects, and even have a calm space to go to if they are feeling overwhelmed. The students were excited to see and use this new space in our classroom. I attached before and after pictures for you to see how your donation helped to enhance the look of our room and how this space is used for learning.”

Many of my students come from disadvantage homes. I am lucky to be able to work with children who are able, at such a young age, to deal with hardships many people can't imagine. Yet they come to school, they try, they persist, and learn how to keep standing in the mist of it all. Our school has created an environment in which children can feel proud, strong, independent, and most importantly, capable of anything they set their minds to do. That no dream is impossible to reach.

About my class

Yet they come to school, they try, they persist, and learn how to keep standing in the mist of it all.
