Ready for Robots
Funded Dec 10, 2021Thank you so much for your support and helping to bring robotics and programming to the classroom! These robots have been intriguing all graders form kindergarten through 5th and the students are eager to learn more that they can accomplish. With these items in our room, the students have shown suck focus and determination in learning these new skills.
The students love taking turns being the programmer and navigator in out classroom as we integrate computer science skills with other subjects learning in their classes. They can program their robots to identify a letter, a season, or vocabulary word. Their smiles are too bright as they walk in the room when they see the bee-bots set up! I have all of you to thank for that!
Again, thank you so very much for your thoughtfulness and kindness!”

Funded Oct 18, 2021I cannot express how meaningful your donations have been in my classroom! The students' creativity has been shining through with the use of these Legos! The kindergarteners and 1st graders have been using Legos to build prototypes of shelters and animals. They also have used them to identify and build letters of the alphabet.
When the Legos arrived, the students were ecstatic! Their excitement to use the Legos when given the opportunity is amazing to witness.
Next, we plan to use Legos to experiment with shadows and shadow shapes. We will even continue to build new inventions and let their creations come to life.
Thank you again for all of your support to these students! I know that these materials will help enhance their educational experience and foster great creativity in their futures.”

Funded Dec 29, 2018This new technology in our classrooms has helped the students immensely. The students have used their new iPads to read new books they enjoy, practice math skills through online games, utilize an online dictionary and thesaurus to improve their writing, watch videos to assist in learning new science topics, and more.
The students are most excited to have more opportunities to use the iPads during their working time. Before receiving these, technology was limited and many students would be sharing one device. Now, each student can have a chance to access the programs and apps to improve their skills and increase their learning.
Many of the students are very drawn towards these new iPads and first thing in the morning are asking to read with them. Having these new devices has sparked their interest in learning through online tools and motivated them to become more skilled in its use. The students have increasingly become more mature through handling the devices with care and meeting the high expectations set for them to use the iPads for educational purposes. We cannot thank our donors enough for all that they have provided us with. THANK YOU!”
