As a first year teacher in a low socio-economic community, Title I school our district does not have the funds to supply enough books for new teaches. These books will complete my classroom library so my students can find books that interest them at their reading level. Although many of my students don't have access to books at home, they are eager and hungry to learn! These books will allow me to create a lending library so they may take books home. This will allow them to read every night at home with access to a variety of books.

About my class
