Missing Supplies
Funded Dec 30, 2022Thanks for the opportunity to share more about our project and its impact on our students. With the support of you, our generous donors, we were able to provide our students with new resources that have truly grown the way I teach.
With the new pencils, copy paper, notebook paper, colored pencils, and cleaning supplies, our students have been able to fully engage in their learning and explore their creativity in new ways. The students were particularly thrilled with the new pencil sharpener, which has made it much easier for them to keep their pencils sharp and ready for use. Having an easy-to-read clock in the classroom has also helped them stay on task and manage their time more effectively.
One specific project that we recently completed was a collaborative poster project where students used the supplies to create an informative poster over the dangerous animals from Holes by Louis Sachar that now hang in our hallway. Another moment that stands out is when we handed out the new pencils to the students, they were so excited to have an abundance of writing tools. It was a small but significant moment that made a big difference in their learning experience.

Funded Sep 21, 2022My Cricut Crafting Club was a huge success thanks to your generosity. We had a total of 15 participants. They each had the opportunity to create three different projects. Due to the number of students, we had to meet more often than anticipated to complete everyone's projects. Many students made their December winter candles as Christmas gifts for their family members. One student, in particular, made her candle with an image of a mother holding a baby to give to her mom as she had just given birth. The Cricut Crafting Club was a success! Since the last meeting, I have had all the students ask when we will meet again. I could not have done it without your help. Because of your generosity, we now have new crafters who eagerly await the next meeting.”
