  • Kindergartners LOVE to Play!

    Thank you all once again so much for your generous donations! My students have absolutely loved the new game additions to our classroom!

    When the packages started to arrive, my students wanted to know what was inside. I told them that there were games and containers in them and they were so excited to find out what games. On that special day all the packages arrived, we opened the packages together and my students have never been so excited! They loved all the games and were sharing stories with one another about times they have played the games at home. Now they have the chance to play these games together!

    I cannot wait to watch the learning and socializing that will result as students play these exciting games together! My students and I are truly thankful for not only these new games and containers, but also the donations from you!”

  • Creating Inspired and Motivated Students, One Book at a Time

    Thank you so much for supporting not only my project, but my students! I had originally planned on saving these books and first reading and sharing them with my students during the 2018-2019 school year, but once the books were delivered I knew the messages in each story would be great to share with my current students!

    Needless to say, my decision was the best one I could have made for my students! They have loved the stories I've read so far, and look forward to each morning when I read another new story! They are making such great connections, learning valuable lessons, and are contributing great things to our daily conversation and book talks!

  • More Carpet Space=More Space for Students

    Thank you again so much for your generous donations!! My students are VERY excited to be able to have more space on the carpet during whole-group instruction!

    When I told my students that the carpet was arriving sometime today, they asked all day when it would be here! Sadly, it arrived after they had left school for the day, but I have it all set up and I am so excited for them to see it tomorrow!

  • Kindergarten: A Place to Feel Safe and Free to Fidget

    Thank you so much for your generosity and willingness to provide my kindergarten students with the necessary tools to feel safe and free to fidget in the classroom.

    Having a variety of fidgets for students to choose from has been extremely beneficial, and students have thoroughly enjoyed testing out all of their options!

    My students have learned in these first few days of school that each student needs different things to help them learn best, which is why they are so excited to have a variety of fidgets to help them focus. Students have also fallen in love with the addition of two safe places!

  • Moving, Wiggling, Spinning - Help Kindergartners Move!

    Thank you again so much for your generous donations to my kindergarten students and classroom! Your generosity does not go unnoticed!

    When my students first saw the wobble stools they all wanted to sit in them - needless to say, they are a huge hit! The students benefit from being able to move while they are working. The balance boards have been a great addition during group time for students to be able to move without disturbing other students around them.

    I have noticed students moving, wiggling, and spinning in safer ways with these materials, and they are able to still attend to group instruction!
