I have a class of 25 students (sometimes more!). Despite the fact that they are from low-income families and have to overcome many hardships, they love to learn and enjoy being in school. My third grade general education class is very diverse and includes English language learners from all over the world, as well as students with learning disabilities. Our school is an older, urban school and unfortunately doesn't have a lot of funding for resources. Our amazing teachers are caring, hardworking, and dedicated. Many work in the before and after school programs to help struggling students. We are very proud of our school's accomplishments.
