As a teacher my focus is the respect of self, others and in learning by DOING. Experiential education can include everything from science experiments and field trips to almost any project-based learning. Although effective, it is expensive to teach this way. I teach at a high-priority school. Latin students form about 55% of our school alongside with Asian, Caucasian, and African American children. This rich diversity of cultures offers unlimited opportunities to learn tolerance and team work while discovering new perspectives. However, our school and our families can't afford the sources we need to support significant academic knowledge. Thanks to all of you DAZZLING donors generously believing in us and helping to level the playing field. It takes a village, and we teachers couldn't do it without you. Thank you for your generosity and in supporting my students and public education.
