Classroom Supplies Needed!
Funded May 12, 2021We are so thankful for you kind hearts! I appreciate all your help and support in helping my students and I get the supplies needed for this school year.
My students love their new literacy centers. The literacy centers have helped students work on different skills independently as well as collaboratively. They are eager to participate and practice skills being taught. In addition, my students and their parents did not have to worry about getting essential supplies this school year. Thanks to you, my class had essential supplies at school.

Funded Dec 1, 2020I am so thankful for your kind hearts! I appreciate all your help to get my students all their basic supplies for this school year. You have provided my students with many learning opportunities during these trying times. My students were very excited to receive their own crayons, dry erase markers and boards. I was also able to create new literacy and math centers with the laminating sheets to help them practice their numbers and letters and sounds. They also had enough supplies to take home and use while we went remote for a few days. We are very grateful for your support.”

Funded Dec 12, 2019Thank you ever so much for your gratitude and kindness towards our classroom. My students were excited to open and receive the Donors Choose packages full of wonderful new books to read.
Your generous donations have helped our classroom tremendously. Students are excited for our Reading Workshop block. They want to hold and read the new books. I have identified their reading levels and they choose their level to read and practice the strategies taught during the week. These books will continue to help students become better readers as they continue to practice reading.

Your generous donations helped each child have their own personal bins, and markers. This year it was important for students to have enough materials for them to use. They were able to stay organized and safe.Lastly, the social emotional activities have helped students tremendously. It has strengthen their social emotional learning in the classroom. We have been able to have group conversations and various writing activities.We have covered topics such as friendship, teamwork, and self-control.

Funded May 8, 2020My students and I are very grateful for your generous donations. My students were very excited when they received their package at home. Their families were just as excited to receive much needed resources to use at home while learning remotely.
My students received books to read with their families to continue practicing their reading strategies and skills. They were very happy to see a class favorite The Pigeon has to Go to school! by Mo Williems. They really enjoy the silly character The Pigeon and all the fun and crazy things he does.
My students were engaged in live learning remotely and they were able to use their math manipulatives while we learned to count and add/subtract objects.
My students, their families and I are very grateful for the resources you helped provide. They were able to continue their learning while remote. Thank you again.”

Funded May 11, 2020I am so thankful for your kind hearts! My students and I are very grateful for your support. My students received books, art supplies, and phonics games to support their learning at home.
It is important to me that my students had certain books at home during remote learning. My students were able to continue to work on their reading skills and continue to work on reading strategies to help them become better readers. We practiced different strategies such as looking at the beginning letter of the words, and looking at pictures to help us figure what the word might be.
My students loved the books that they received, especially a class favorite The Pigeon has to Go to School! by Mo Willems. They love all books by Mo Willems they love the character The Pigeon and all the crazy and fun things he says.

Funded May 6, 2020I am so thankful for your kind hearts! I appreciate all your help to get my students all their basic supplies during remotely learning. With all the uncertainty we had this school year, this project helped my student's receive supplies at home.
My students and I did not have time to pick up our essentials at school. My students were home without basic supplies. But with your generous donations my students received sight word books, leveled books to read, crayons, pencils, white boards, and dry erase markers mailed to their homes.
My students and their parents felt a sense of relief. They participated in my live teaching. We practiced our sight words, we read our books together. The white boards and dry erase boards were especially handy. They were able to practice forming their letters correctly and numbers.

Funded May 6, 2020My wonderful students and I are thankful for your generosity. We have been learning remotely and it was a difficult transition for the students and I.
To stay connected we used Google Classroom which is an online platform. Thanks to your donations, I was able to go live with my students and teach reading, writing and math. The computer helped us stay connected. I was able to see my wonderful students live and they were able to see me. You helped ensure my students continued to receive the education they deserve.
My students loved to see me live, especially when I was reading to them. They were engaged and ready to listen and learn.

Funded Aug 14, 2019Thank you so much for your generous donations. My class was very excited to receive Donor's Choose boxes. We unpacked to discover much needed materials we needed for the new school year. My students love the Calendar Math. During morning meeting, we meet as a whole group and learn so much from our new calendar math. We have learned about numbers, the days of the week, the months of the year and basic addition and subtraction. They especially love our new Word Wall with our new bulletin boarders. They are excited and enjoy going up to the word wall to write and add words that they are learning.

Funded Mar 18, 2019Thanks you so much for donating to my Reading A-Z leveled reading project. We were so excited to have this project funded. My students have the opportunity to read even more books at home and in the classroom. The best part students are reading books at their level. We use it everyday in the classroom for reading instruction and students use it at home as well. For whole group work we use the close reading passages and for small group work I am able to break my groups up into reading levels and use the decode-able texts for independent reading. I have seen a lot of progress in their ability to decode and read books fluently. I also see they love reading even more. Thank you for giving my classroom this great opportunity.”
