If our class had Apple iPad Mini tablets in the classroom, their scores would improve with just one simple touch. I have noticed that some scholars are touching the school desktop computers thinking that they are touch screen. That's when I realized that this generation was born with a touch screen type of technology. Therefore, if they use them every day in the classroom they motivation to learn would not decrease yet increase with one touch. They should be exposed to the most current technology in the classroom. I have 4 small groups of 3 to 4 scholars in each group that rotate to a different station each day. Everyone would get the opportunity to use the Apple iPad Mini in both ELA small group and again in Mathematics. There are websites that they would use to help them draw plane shapes, partition shapes, draw, and write numbers on the iPad Mini instead of using a personal whiteboard and marker or paper and pencil. Their eyes would stay focused on their assignments and it is easy to erase on iPad Mini if you make a mistake vs paper and pencil. If our class had Apple iPad Mini tablets in the classroom, learning would be an improvement in their everyday lives. My data would show growth and improvement from all scholars.
