My babies are sweet, funny, curious, and loving. Many of them are living in such poverty, it breaks my heart. I want their classroom to be a place where they come and know they are safe and loved and be so proud of it. I want it to be an environment where everyone feels safe and comfortable sharing their thoughts, opinions and feelings. I want it to give them hope. I want them to dream and dream big! I want the flexible seating so they can spread out across the room and work together. A carpet for whole group learning, but will also serve as a place where they can lay down and read and discuss what they have read, or pull out math manipulatives and have all the room they need to to spread them out. I want the cool chairs and balls to use around my current tables. Some will help them with core muscle strength and others will be so comfortable. I want to use the seat cushions around a table I plan on lowering.
