In our classroom, we are family! My students love to collaborate and brainstorm with one another. This creates the feeling of a community where the students are more like a family instead of just classmates. My students love to do team projects and group work. Currently, my students are at individual desks. This makes team brainstorming and partner work difficult at times. My students would greatly benefit from having tables to complete group work. We do Daily 5 Stations and this would help to keep organization in the classroom. With these tables, students are encouraged to work together when necessary. They will even be able to have their own personal space when necessary, too! At these tables students will be able to work together to continue to be encouraged to collaborate and communicate with one another all of the time.
