iPad for Distance Learning
Funded Oct 19, 2020I cannot thank you enough for your support during this historic school year. I know that many of you have faced your fair share of challenges yourself this year, so the fact that you've supported me and my students means the world to us.
With the addition of an iPad and an Apple Pencil I have been able to seamlessly demonstrate math strategies and ideas for my students in distance learning. Before the iPad I would model under a document camera or using my mouse. This would not provide a clear picture for my students and would often distract from the overall lesson. With the ability to share my iPad screen on Zoom I'm not only able to write clearly for my students but I can also annotate websites and other online resources we use in class.
Again, I appreciate all of your kindness and support during this difficult year. Your generosity has made a huge impact on our virtual classroom!”

Mrs. Wood
Let’s Write On The Tables!
Funded Feb 4, 2020I am beyond grateful for your support! Getting these dry erase tables for our classroom was so exciting. There is nothing more fun than being able to write on the tables while you're working!
When the table boxes arrived in our classroom students were jumping with joy! They knew that were were going to be able to assemble them as a class and start using them right away. Our favorite was that we kept one of the tables low to the ground which brought even more seating options to our classroom!
The tables arrived just in time for our National Day of Play. They made the perfect bases for forts that students created on their Day of Play!
We are so grateful for your support in our classroom. These tables are "game-changers" and we cannot wait to continue learning while using them!”

Mrs. Wood
This classroom project was brought to life by An anonymous classroom supporter and 12 other donors.iLearn At My Own Pace
Funded Sep 30, 2015Thank you so much for donation to our class project. My second graders and I are so excited to have 3 more iPads in our classroom to enhance student learning. We use these iPads on a daily basis for a number of things.
Each day students have the chance to Tweet photos from our classroom to share our learning with family, friends and other 2nd grade classes. Learning how to communicate in a digital age is an important skill for my students to have. Students also interact with iPads during Word Study, Reading, Math and during Academic Lab. Through a number of apps I am able to customize learning to fit each child's specific needs.
Again, thank you so much for your donation. We couldn't have done it without you!”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Wood
Lego Landmarks
Funded Apr 18, 2015Thank you so much for taking the time to make donations towards this project for my summer school students. Because of your donation students were able to engage in creative and challenging play this summer.
With the addition of these Legos to our classroom students were able to explore different regions of the world and build landmark replicas with Legos as they learned about each famous landmark. Students share their creativity with one another and learned from each other.
In the future I will be using these Legos to sponsor a Lego Club before school throughout the school year.”

iLearn At My Own Pace
Funded Oct 5, 2014Thank you so much for you generous donation. We were so excited to see how quickly our project was funded! These iPads have made a huge impact on our 2nd grade classroom.
Since receiving the iPads students have used them for a variety of things including math games like Dreambox, virtual math manipulatives and other fun math apps. Students have also used QR code readers to interact with learning activities in the classroom. Having two iPads in the classroom has helped tremendously! Students are able to receive immediate feedback when working independently and they are engaged while doing it!
Thank you again for your kind donation. Your support means so much to us.”
With gratitude,
Mrs. Wood
