Many of our donors use technology and resources in their daily lives, but seeing how these tools impact students in a classroom setting is truly special. The calculators have been a game-changer, allowing my students to focus on problem-solving and critical thinking rather than getting stuck on basic calculations. It has given them the confidence to take on more challenging math concepts without frustration.
One of the most exciting additions has been the rug and fairy lights. These small touches have transformed our classroom into a warm and inviting space where students feel comfortable and ready to learn. The rug has quickly become a favorite spot for group discussions and collaborative activities, making learning feel more interactive and engaging. The fairy lights have created a calming atmosphere, helping students feel relaxed and focused, especially those who experience anxiety in a traditional classroom setting.
I've seen particular students light up—literally and figuratively—because of these changes. One student, who often found math intimidating, now eagerly participates in class thanks to the support of the calculators. Another, who struggles with focus, has found comfort in the new environment and is more engaged than ever. These resources aren't just supplies; they are tools that foster confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Many of our students are used to technology in their daily lives, but having access to it in the classroom transforms their learning in ways they hadn't imagined. The calculators you provided have become essential for building confidence in math, allowing students to explore complex problems with greater understanding and accuracy. The lights have also created a brighter, more engaging environment, making our classroom a place where students feel motivated and ready to learn.
One of the most exciting aspects for our students has been the ability to work through math problems more efficiently and independently. Several students who previously struggled with calculations have found new confidence in their abilities, knowing they have the right tools to support their learning.
In particular, one of our students, who had always been intimidated by math, has started participating more in class.
