Second Needs Headphones
Funded Jan 17, 2024Thank you so much for your donation to my classroom! My students have loved their headphones and play doh so much these last few months. Having their own color/style of headphones have encouraged my students to take care of their headphones and act with responsibility. They no longer have to use the generic school ones and were so excited to switch to their new ones.
Having reliable headphones that students can have at the end of the year gives them something they probably won't have access to otherwise. They love getting to use them and it helps keep them focused during independent work. They focus more on what they are doing and that gives quiet time and space for me to support anyone who is struggling.
You gave 26 students a gift of focus and the comfort of owning their own tools. Thank you so much on behalf of all my students.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Stokes

Funded Jan 17, 2024I cannot thank you enough for your donation to my classroom. My students cannot get enough of their "fun chairs" for small groups, reading time, and class movies. They love having an easier time sitting on the floor as a group and having back support.
Beyond that, I have watched these students engage with each other and reading more because they have an opportunity to space out and work with classmates. They are communicating better and learning how to self organize and regulate because they have opportunities for different locations to learn. My students started this year not enjoying group activities and reading and now they are bonded and improving every day.
Thank you for allowing my students to have ownership of their classroom and feel welcome to move around it safely. Not only will these kids benefit but so will all my classes going forward so thank you from me, my current students, and my future ones.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Stokes
