Hello there! Thanks for stopping by. I know in this world we're all overwhelmed by the number of people and organizations in need so thank you for even considering my students for your support.
I teach in an inner-city, urban school which is a 100% minority school with extreme poverty. We have a long tradition of excellence, but changing times, funding, and communities have taken their toll. Many of our students are disengaged, over-age, and under-credited. It's my goal to encourage all of my students to do their best, challenge their expectations of themselves and the world, and find the courage to excel. There is an increasing gap between the resources and technology my students receive and those that students in "better" schools receive. This makes it more difficult for them to achieve their college and career goals.
I think all students deserve the best we can give them, thank you for helping us.
