Words can not begin to explain how grateful we are for your continued generosity! My students and I are just beyond thankful for our new Dash and Dot robots! We love having the ability to learn to code and you have made that happen! My students have gained confidence in their ability to use technology as well as confidence in coding!! They are teaching the robots what to do as well as teaching each other if someone is struggling with getting a code to work! Their skills have improved immensely! I can not thank you enough! My STEM classroom has student-centered activities that interests the students and keeps them involved in project-based lessons. These lessons ask them to solve a real-world problems. STEM teams take responsibility for developing their own solutions for the engineering challenge by brainstorming, designing, creating, experimenting, and redoing. As the teacher I am a resource, observing, encouraging, and asking questions to help students figure out answers and solutions. Students are using technology - researching information, entering data, and even illustrating results of their experiments. They may be designing, coding, and doing many other things created to meet learning needs! Students demonstrate curiosity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and creativity. A STEM engineering challenge uses a variety of approaches to describe their challenge and justify their results.
