I am a first year teacher at VWES. My project is based on reading and writing. Since my students are constantly reading great selections this year, they really need a carpet for reading time. My students really love to read, so I want to ensure that they are comfortable. We have center time everyday and need materials for their centers. Their centers are Phonemic Awareness, Writing, Phonics, Reading and Comprehension, Vocabulary and Guided reading. My students also really need pencils. They have been really practicing on writing skills. My students have been writing many sentences and are in need of erasers. I will appreciate anything that could be donated for reading and writing in my classroom.
