• Summing Up Their Future!

  Thank you for your generosity to our class! My Littles were so excited to receive our new IPads! Using IPads as part of our individual centers is an important part of our daily routine. With half my class working virtually from home and half the class working Face to Face, technology is a huge part of our daily routine, the new IPads are a boon to our class! Now that we can not work together, each one of my kiddos needs to have their very own technology to practice daily routines. It would be impossible to meet our goals without the help and generosity of our donors.”

• Big Pencils, Little Fingers!

  Thank you for your generosity to our class! My Littles were so excited to receive their new fat pencils. The fat pencils are so important to our daily writing. My Littles love the fact that the fat pencils fit their little hands for use during our daily writing. Now that we can not work together, each one of my kiddos needs to have their very own supplies to practice daily routines. Having the air purifier in our class is such a relief with all of the fears of COVID-19. It would be impossible to meet our goals without the help and generosity of our donors.”

• My Own Supplies!

  Thank you for your generosity to our class! My Littles were so excited to receive their new school supplies. The Ticonderoga pencils are so important to our everyday writing along with the crayons, and scissors for my Littles to use during our daily writing. I use the paper cutter to make our new "individual" centers. The math manipulatives are so important for each child to be able to use without sharing. Now that we can not work together, each one of my kiddos needs to have their very own centers to practice daily routines. It would be impossible to meet our goals without the help and generosity of our donors.”

  I want to thank you for your donations to our classroom! My Littles were over the moon excited to receive our new IPad. . Being able to have access to another tablet in our room is just plain awesome. Using the IPad makes projects so much more fun to do and complete!

  While doing research, my Littles are learning to take notes using their journals. Our Fourth grade Buddy Readers helped us with our research project! Technology is both fun and amazing. It also adds a fun factor to our center rotations!

• A Colorful Learning Experience

  I want to thank you for your donations to our classroom! My Littles were over the moon excited to receive the new and colorful school supplies. Being able to have access to crayons, markers, and pencils is just plain awesome. As an added bonus, having the colorful sticky notes, colored tag, and colored paper makes projects so much more fun to do and complete!

  While doing research, my Littles are learning to take notes using stickies. They are learning the value of adding color to a picture to make it stand out. They are learning the value of and to appreciate pencils.

• I Can With Ipads!

  I want to thank you for your donations to my Firsties. They are beyond excited when I say that it is time to use technology! The Reading apps and Math apps are so much "fun" that they don't realize they are actually working towards a goal.

  Many of my students are still trying to pair sounds to letters and some of these "games" are just the ticket. On the flip side- they will also be using the IPads to do search! Learning and practicing number sense is something that they will always need. Whether it be ten frames, tallies, place value, or just fact families- math is an important skill that they will take with them when they leave First grade.

• 3, 2, 1, Blast Off!

  I would like to thank you for your generosity towards my class. My kids learn at many different levels when it comes to math. Receiving these math manipulatives means so much to all of us. They were so excited when I told them that we had been funded!

  When our box came in, the excitement was palpable. All of my kids wanted a chance to use the "different" dice, and the counting rods and cubes. The manipulatives have helped my lower students with counting on and with counting by fives and tens.

  Learning to count via base tens can be easy and fun when you have the right supplies handy. Again, my heartfelt thanks,”

• Little Hands Using Technology

  I want to share my thanks on behalf of my littles. Bringing technology into the classroom is a welcome break from everyday reading and writing. It is funny how willing they are to do reading and writing while using technology! My very reluctant readers love to use our new IPad.

  My Firsties are learning how to research using the iPad and it is astounding to see them trying new things. The smiles on their faces says it all. We are gearing up to do a big project, so they're learning where and how to find information on the internet. I'm beyond thankful,”

• Learning How To Research

  My kiddos were beyond excited to receive the Kindles. We are on our way! Learning how to research for a project is so much more fun when we can use technology. Some of my kids are still learning how to navigate the ins and outs of our new Kindles. Whereas others in my class are quick to show how much they know about technology and are very willing to share and show others.

  The fact that they get to use the Kindles for a portion of the day is a wonderful break from book work and worksheets. They love the fact that they can walk around the room with the tablet and work at the same time!
