• Interactive Notebooks

  I would like to thank you for your donations to my class. It means so much for my Littles to have the necessary school supplies to get every day work done. The composition, notebooks, pencils, just right for their size, and so many colors, make journaling, fun. Having students journal every morning and several times during the day, give students the opportunity to think about what they are writing, and how they are writing. It gives me the opportunity to see where I need to help whether it is spelling or fluency.”

• A Colorful New Year

  Funded May 25, 2022

  Thank you for your generous donations to my Littles. It was a great beginning to our school year to be able to provide basic school supplies to my students (& parents!) We use our pencils, crayons, glue, and electric sharpener daily! The kids love using the sticky notes when working to create anchor charts.

  Having astrobrite color paper available for projects is a great way to add a pop of color to their work. My Littles love working in groups and knowing that they have all of the supplies necessary to produce their best work is a relief for us all.”

• Tech Station

  I am beyond grateful for your donations to my class.

  This year I have encouraged My Littles to be independent and learning how to do research on an IPad has been a boon for my class. They love learning new information and best of all, learning how to share that information. They are practicing public speaking and they have excelled! We also are using the IPad as a reading/ math practice station. Just watching them take turns, be cordial with each other, and enjoying learning makes teaching an adventure.

• Back To Basics!

  Many thanks to all of our supporters! It is such a wonderful thing to be able to provide basic supplies such as pencils and Kleenex to my kiddos. This pandemic has put an extra strain on many of our families that were already struggling to provide for their families. Helping in any way I can- with the help of Donors, is so important to me! I know that it can be so hard to come back to school with no supplies. If I can take away the embarrassment from some of my Littles, then I will. Again, many, many thanks for helping me help my Littles!”

• Digital Small Group Centers

  I want to thank all for your donations. We appreciate it. Technology has become a major shift in our lives. My students have become more literate in technology, although it has become challenging for all of us. The consumables given to us have given us more options on resources to use in technology. Thanks to TeacherPayTeachers life is a little easier for teachers. I can download work from the consumables provided to my students and converted it into a digital source for them to work from it. It is straightforward if students need to go back and correct any part of their work, all I have to do is reopen the assignment and have students go back and correct it. Thank you for these resources provided to my students."”

Since technology is such a big part of our world, it is important that my kids learn how to navigate the internet safely. The only way to do so is to practice, practice, practice. My Littles have shown so much growth because of technology! When we are done done with "MUST DO'S", they are allowed to do "MAY DO'S"! And they love to read on the IPads! • Essentials For Little Hands

  Thank you so much for your donations and your support of our class. It was such a relief not to have to worry about everyday school supplies/essentials! Being able to tell our parents that Donors Choose were going to supply the essentials for their Littles was such a Blessing. As a teacher, knowing that we had the necessary items for our Best learning was great! Journals, pencils for little hands, and crayons to work with were a boon. The mesh bags to keep everything organized was neat! My Littles Love using the white eras boards with the markers! They are always asking to use these in group time.

• End Of Year Goodies

  Funded May 3, 2021

  I want to thank all of the people that donated to my class! What a blessing. My Littles were ever so excited to end the year with a bag of treats, games, writing utensils.

  The gel pens and mini journals were an awesome treat for them so that they can continue practicing their writing skills and using their creative minds for writing works of art. Sweet and salty treats went a long way as they enjoyed their summertime.

  There is no better way to spend a summer day than writing down your thought, or reading a good book! The books the kids received were leveled individually, and they were over the moon to get "their very own books"!
