  • Rams Recognize Real Rates & Respect Part 2

    Funded Sep 18, 2023

Having snacks available for students, in any capacity, is an encouraging and fulfilling way to help students succeed. Snacks incentivize students, but also demonstrate to students that they are valued and appreciated. We believe in helping students.

When the students noticed the new refresh of snacks, they were overjoyed at being able to pick from all the new varieties. They had requested specific snacks, so noticing that we heard their desires and were able to get them funded with the help of people who have never met them was encouraging to not only their self confidence, but to also their continued belief in succeeding.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Spucces

  • Switch Span Squad

    Funded Oct 16, 2023

Students love being able to come to our classroom during lunch or after school to play with the Nintendo Switch. They look at it like it is a reward for good behavior and appreciate the ability to destress after a long day of school work.

They are most excited about playing with their friends and are constantly encouraged to be able to have this amazing time during their school day to relax and connect with their classmates.

Thank you for making this project a reality. We honestly couldn't have predicted how excited our students would truly be.”

    With gratitude,

  • National Book Award Nominees for Literacy Engagement

    Funded Oct 3, 2023

Having the National Book Foundation long list novels was a transformative experience for my students. They were so excited to see and hear all about the books nominated, as well as experience the novels first hand in class as we read excerpts throughout the days leading up to the event. My students were so excited at the event as well as they had a lot of first hand experience and knowledge concerning each novel because we had the mini library in our class. They treated the authors as one would a rock star and was a very proud moment for all of us. Thank you so much for making this a reality!”

  • PrideFest 2023: Overjoyed Origami Occasion

    Funded May 13, 2023

Students would not leave the origami table!

This table was by far one of the most popular. Our club members were proud teachers of the different types of origami available as well as the different techniques available.

Students were able to display their teaching skills as they incorporated their prep and hard work to show others how to handle the paper supplies.

Since this table was so popular, we can look forward to other activities in the coming school year that will help encourage our whole community to come and participate.

    Thank you!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Spucces

  • PrideFest 2023: Punch Cards to Prizes

    Funded May 11, 2023

Encouraging our school community to make sure to go to every table at our PrideFest event was truly a sight to be seen. Students couldn't wait to receive their punch cards to begin going to each table and punching each different design into their card. They challenged themselves to see who would do it first, while also making sure to help their classmates when they had already finished their own card. It was an inspirational community building event that allowed all of us to feel seen, to feel heard, and to feel loved. Thank you for making this a possibility.”

  • PrideFest 2023: Backdrops as Glimpses Into Identity

    Funded May 9, 2023

Thank you so much for helping us receive these shower curtains and holders.

We can't believe how amazing and successful our PrideFest was. Students and teachers loved being able to take pictures with the backdrop of their choosing.

Thank you so much for making this project a reality with your contribution to our amazing celebration. We couldn't have been more lucky to be able to share this event with our school community. Thank you immensely for allowing us to celebrate this great event together.”

  • PrideFest 2023: Filament for Fascinating Family Fun

    Funded May 14, 2023

Thank you so much for helping to donate to our PrideFest celebration.

The filament requested went to good use as our 3D printers were hard at work printing the designs our students came up with.

We were able to print hair accessories as well as materials for creating art such as guitar pics and decorations.

Students were so inspired by your donations, that they were hard at work right up until the PrideFest day itself monitoring and keeping track of prints and making sure the items we had were available for all during the event. Thank you so much!”

  • PrideFest 2023: Snapshots to Secure Solidarity

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Being able to use the Fuji Film and backdrop holder was invaluable for our success with PrideFest 2023!

Students were encouraged to round up their friends and bring as many of them as they could get to share this amazing event. Teachers and students were able to briefly borrow the the camera to take amazing group and the way to single shots of the cool backdrops or outfits they wore to the event.

Students especially loved the awesome designs on the film, and were so excited to keep taking pictures in order to see what designs they would receive.”

My students are a widespread mix of reading levels. However, the one thing they can agree upon is my infectious love of books. I find ways to get a novel in every student's hand and encourage them to get novels in my hands as well. This literary discourse flourishes in my students from the first day of school to the last, and hopefully in years to come. Any help you can provide to assist me in my endeavor is greatly appreciated.
