Every week, my students take 3 books home to practice reading. I want my students to be able to bring home books that are interesting to them. By having a larger selection of books to choose from that are lower level and high interest, my students will enjoy reading at home and be motivated to read often. Whisper Phones are also an important part of this project because many of my students read aloud during independent reading. By having a whisper phone, the students can read aloud to themselves without distracting the others at their table. The whisper phones will help my struggling readers to improve and become stronger readers. This project will help my students continue reading and become strong readers.

About my class
