The iPads will be used in a variety of ways in our classroom. As the technology world keeps growing, integrating technology into our classroom will help prepare my students for their future. The use of technology will promote both independence as well as collaboration within our classroom. The iPads will be used during Math and ELA centers. My students will be able to use different reading and math programs which will help them build many necessary skills in order to succeed. In order to ensure that I meet the diverse needs of my students, I need to teach in small groups. While I am working with a group on a specific skill, my other students will be completing activities on the iPads that are engaging and reinforce other skills that they need. In addition, as some students are independently working on their reading skills on the iPads, other students will be using the leveled books at the Guided Reading Center where they will be reinforcing their reading skills with the support of an adult.
