Healthy Art Projects for the Senses
Funded Sep 14, 2009Wow! My kids loved all the things that were donated. We have recently made the kaleidoscopes. We play with the scented dough all the time, as you will see in the pictures it is the students' favorite. We as a class are so grateful that you all were able to donate the items that you did. We love art projects and are always looking for different things to make and explore. Due to your generosity we are able to explore our senses at the same time that we are doing art projects.
Since we do not get a lot of supplies at our school, the items that you have donated make all the difference in the students' education. Making learning fun and engaging for my students is the most important thing for me as a teacher. Autism is a really rough disability, and hands-on activities are the best way for these children to learn and make strides.
You will never know how grateful I am as the teacher for your support, and I know that the students may not know to appreciate your generosity but they love the things they got.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Shuster
We Will Learn How To Stay Healthy!
Funded Jan 8, 2009I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the generous donation that you made to both me and my classroom. With the books that you donated I am able to teach my students with more precision. Having my own books allows me to adapt them for the population of students that I teach. I will use the books that I have gotten through DonorsChoose for many years to come to enhance the education of my students. I will be sending you both pictures of the children using the materials as well as thank you cards from the children themselves. Please know that we are so grateful for your generosity and support. Thank you again.
