    Funded Nov 15, 2024

    Thank you so much for your generous contributions. The donations helped to support our project and funded another desk donated to our classroom.

    The ultimate goal is to replace all the desks in the classroom from the traditional desks to these new modern desks which are more appealing, better for space, can be moved which supports seating and grouping students for collaborative assignments.

    Students so far and enjoyed having these desks in our classroom. We look forward to adding more desks and a small group table to our classroom soon.”

  • Classroom Reading Nook

    Students have been so excited with the new addition of our furniture for our library to create our reading nook! They enjoy coming to the area to read and have become more interested in developing their skills.

    In our nook we also have our class pet and the furniture allows the students to sit by and read out loud to which has help to build their confidence!

    Students who were reluctant to choose a book to read or take a book home, now love to buddy read or read independently. This was my goal with this project. Thank you for making it happen!”

    Our new desks have already started to reshape our learning environment. The students who are using these four new desks are so excited to have their old desk replaced. Their productivity is increasing already and they feel so much joy and pride in having the new furniture in the classroom.

    I look forward to being able to continue replacing the remainder of the desks in the classroom for the other students and hope to have your support for future projects.

  • Absolutely excited for our Axolotl!

    Our class pet is teaching students responsibility, empathy and leadership.

    Our pet is also closely related to one of our ELA units of studies based on endangered species due to habitat destruction, which axolotls face.

    Students are inspired by our class pet to educate their peers and others about the impacts people have on the environment and how we can push for change.

    Our students are learning how to properly care for our pet but how they can also contribute to making changes within their own lives, school, their home and the community to help the environment and inspire others to do the same.

    It is with your help that we were able to make this happen!”

    Thank you so much for what you have helped provide to my students. Flexible seating has made a major impact on the student's ability to feel more comfortable in the classroom and focus during instruction. Our flexible seating is used during instruction, partner work, independent reading or even as an incentive. Providing opportunities like this for students benefits students who struggle with focus, sensory and behavior needs. They mean so much to my students and your support means so much to me!”
