Atoms are small and not comprehended by many students. Students love hands on activities and there are few that can give the experience that this molecular modeling kit can do. Students are able to make models and then scan them to see what they are, what these molecules can do, and where they are found outside the classroom. Students eyes light up when they make connections from content presented in their classroom and the world outside.
3-D technology of atoms brings the incomprehensible to comprehensible. Students will be able to practice making correct formulas, naming, and bonding through this kit. Students have amazing imaginations and while these are the uses I see, I know my students will take it further then I can imagine. These atom kits will engage students in a way not yet seen in their high school science courses.
