  • Reach and Teach... And RESEARCH!

    Funded May 30, 2021

Thank you so much for your kind generosity! I truly appreciate your donations to this project. I created an action research project to encourage timely attendance in my daily remote learning classes. The interventions I researched were evidence-based, and worked! Students arrived earlier to my class, and thus gained valuable learning time! Thank you!”

  • A Virtual Classroom That WORKS

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I truly appreciate your kind donation to my classroom! The materials and supplies I requested in this project meant that I was able to teach during remote learning. Your donations gave me what my students needed in order to reach them online.

I use the technology you supported every single day. The web cam is amazing; it gives clear, bright images. The document camera is my absolute favorite. I can take notes with my students! I can diagram with them! I have even set it up with a microscope! It has been amazing.

Thank you again! We appreciate you and your kindness very, very much.”

  • Making Remote Learning Fun Learning, Part 2

    Funded Dec 4, 2020

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your kind generosity has meant the world to my students and me! This project has been so amazingly helpful during remote learning!

The materials that I purchased on Teachers Pay Teachers were all optimized for online learning. I was able to find quality, rigorous, teacher-created materials that align with our curriculum and provide online learning opportunities for my students. Without your generosity, this would have taken me HOURS and HOURS to create on my own! Thank you again!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Sankstone

  • Connecting, Engaging and Empowering with Technology!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Your kind generosity has benefited my students and me tremendously, and we are very grateful to you!

This project has allowed my students and me to make virtual learning accessible to more students and visually amazing. Because of your kindness, my students and I can work together, rather than me "telling." We can share examples, we can hear eachother MUCH better, and we can interact online more seamlessly.

Thank you so very, very much for helping my students and me. We appreciate you!”

  • Connecting With Chrome!

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so very, very much for your kind generosity! This project has helped me ENORMOUSLY!

My school is currently hybrid, and has been remote for most of the year. I did not, however, have a computer adequate for the demands of online learning. It crashed, it loaded slowly, it wouldn't play videos without glitching. My poor students were so frustrated!

The new Chromebook is bright and shiny and WONDERFUL! All the things I couldn't do before, I can do with ease now. My students love that lessons are more interactive and varied, and I am loving that I can do more with them!

Thank you again! Your kindness has benefited my students and me greatly, and we appreciate it!”

  • Learning to Reach and Teach!

    Funded Mar 30, 2021

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I appreciate your kind generosity so very, very much! It means the world to me.

My special education students are amazing. They work so hard, and I have learned a great number of strategies to help them. This project will benefit my students for years to come!”

  • Making Remote Learning Fun Learning

    Funded Sep 3, 2020

Thank you so very, very much for your kind donation to my classroom! Your generosity has helped us a great deal, and I cannot begin to express how much your support means to me and my students.

This project was for gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers. This is a marketplace where teachers create and sell their own materials to other teachers. Because our textbooks and other current curricular materials are not optimized for remote learning, I wanted gift cards to Teachers Pay Teachers. The materials and resources on the site are updated quickly (much more quickly than a textbook), and have been optimized for online learning.

So far, I have purchased materials for ancient history (6th grade) and US history (7th grade). In the thank you pictures, I asked my students to create thank you slides, and one student took a screenshot of one of the Ancient Egypt resources I purchased with the gift cards you gave me! I hope you like the thank you slides - I couldn't take pictures of my students (because we are remote learning), and I thought the kids did a great job with the slides.”

  • STEM: Creating Robots with Cubelets

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you so very, very much for your kind generosity! Your gift means the world to my students and me. Without your donation, my students would not have the opportunity to play with robots in an interactive, easy-to-understand way!

I use the cubelets in centers. ALL of my students love them, and want that center more than any other. (For my robot centers, I have the cubelets, and other types of robots.) I love the cubelets because they are intuitive, and do not require English language proficiency. They allow for a deeper, more meaningful inclusion class.

Thank you again! I am very sorry for the delay in getting this letter out.

    Kind Regards,

    Shannon”

My school is a happy, joyful place, filled with bright and enthusiastic learners. My middle school students are motivated to achieve, and want to explore and investigate their world. They dearly wish to have engaging labs with an inquiry-based science program. Your support will make this happen. In fact, our greatest limitation to implementing an inquiry-based science program is our lack of funding, resources, and materials. Helping to resource our lab will not only enrich our curriculum, it will help the teachers build on our students' interests and abilities in science.
