Classroom Chromebooks: Connected & Charged!
Funded Apr 24, 2021Thank you for gifting us our two classroom chromebooks and a charging station. So far we have been able to use the chromebooks for individualized learning through online programs. We have also used them for connecting with service providers such as speech and counseling. We cannot wait for our upcoming research project on immigration and for finding facts and information to support our opinion writing unit.
The charging station has also helped us so much. It makes it so easy to charge all the devices in our classroom at once and use them when needed. We truly appreciate your kindness and generosity. Thank you for your support!”

A Printer Without INK? No Way!
Funded Mar 3, 2021Hip hip hooray! Thanks to your donations, we are able to print with ink! We have enough ink cartridges to last us for almost an entire year.
It's been so helpful having an abundant supply of ink on hand. For our Social Studies unit, students were able to print research information and pictures of the Lenape Indians. For their Lenape project, students will be able to print images of the Lenape people, longhouses, etc. for their diorama.
Having ink also allows me to print worksheets for my students, as well as resources and materials that are needed on the spot. With color ink, I can print bright, colorful anchor charts for students to use in the classroom.
I truly appreciate your support and will always be grateful for your generosity!”

Please Protect Us With an Air Purifier!
Funded Nov 23, 2020We are so grateful for your donations toward this project. Even during these challenging times, you offered your generosity to support us. Thank you!
When my students returned to the classroom, they noticed the new air purifier and instantly asked questions with excitement. They were happy to know that the air purifier was there to keep the classroom cleaner and safer.
This extra precaution has brought a positive and healthier environment in our classroom. The purifier can run throughout the day while students are learning. It is quiet yet powerful. The additional filters and uv light bulbs have also given us a sense of security for the entire school year.
Thank you for your continued support. We truly appreciate it!”

Funded Oct 17, 2019Thank you for all your donations toward this project. I am extremely grateful for your support.
This project has already impacted my teaching and professional development. I am able to be more efficient during school/grade meetings. The MacBook allows me to easily access materials online used for curriculum planning and take important notes without having to use my co-teacher's laptop. I am also able to bring the MacBook to out-of-school meetings to support my professional learning. I am excited to continue using the MacBook to further my professional development and pedagogy.
This project has also supported me in the classroom, as well as my students and their learning. The MacBook allows me to plan lessons and create lesson presentations for my students. My students are provided with visual presentations of lessons, morning messages, educational videos and images, and so much more. We truly are thankful for this project!”

Funded May 13, 2019I can't thank you enough for these wonderful storage carts! My students were so excited to be using them this year. They love the idea of being able to independently get the supplies and resources they need in the classroom.
Currently we are using one cart for classroom supplies and materials such as pencils, markers, post-its, glue sticks, ziploc bags, and index cards. In another cart, we have a variety of papers that students can use for writing. These include white paper, lined paper, yellow draft paper, construction paper, and more. Our third cart is used for graphic organizers and templates that students can use for extra support in all core subjects.
I hope that these storage carts continue to bring more excitement into my classroom! Thank you so much!”

Funded Mar 15, 2019Thank you for funding our project! We are so grateful for all your donations! We now have two new Chromebooks that we get to use in our classroom.
So far we have been using our Chromebooks to read digital books, play educational games, watch educational videos, and practice math facts and literacy skills on various websites. Students really enjoy the interactive websites that they can go on with the Chromebooks. We will soon get into our American Revolution research projects. Students will have the opportunity to research their topics and work in groups while using the Chromebooks.
We are very excited to continue using our Chromebooks! It has been such a wonderful addition to the classroom. Thank you so much for your support.”

Funded Mar 27, 2018Your generosity has brought fun and excitement into my classroom. The class iPad is providing extra support to my students in all subjects. Currently we have used the iPad to search information on the web for research, practice our math fluency using Math apps, read e-books, watch educational videos, and so much more. We plan on using the iPad for research for our upcoming unit on the American Revolution.
My students are excited to have a hands-on, interactive tool that can help them further their learning. They love the idea of playing educational games and learning at the same time. My students seem to enjoy the different apps that can used in the iPad.
The class iPad has been beneficial for all my students, especially my English Language Learners and students with special needs. They are able to use the iPad for visual needs such as images and videos. My newcomers have been especially warm to the iPad. In my fourth grade classroom, there are limited resources for my newcomers. Most of the books in my classroom library begin at a reading level that newcomers cannot read so having iPad apps that provide emergent leveled books can support them as readers. Other apps such as math fact fluency cards and games have also been helpful for my newcomers.
Once again, thank you so much for this wonderful gift!”

Funded Apr 10, 2016Thank you so much for your support and generosity. My students are extremely appreciative of your donations to this project.
When the fan arrived, my students were excited to finally have something to cool them down in the hot weather. The fan worked very quietly and it was able to cool the classroom immediately. The fan also came with a remote control which made it easier for us to access.
With the cool breeze, students were able to focus more on their learning rather than the heat. Your donations has improved our classroom and provided us with a more comfortable learning environment.
Thank you for keeping us cool and happy!”

Printer and Ink for our Classroom!
Funded Mar 9, 2016I am extremely grateful for this addition to our classroom. With the printer and ink for the classroom, students have access to a readily available resource that helps them visualize and practice skills taught in class. We have been able to print worksheets, activities, and graphic organizers to help students enhance their learning. Having a printer in the classroom makes it easier for me and my students. Without one, it takes away from my planning time. Having one on site allows me to devote more time to plan my lessons and prepare students for learning.
The most exciting thing about having a printer in the classroom is finding activities for my students and printing it quickly without hassle. The most useful aspect of having a printer is for my ELL students as they need different levels of activities that must be differentiated to meet their needs.
Thank you again for your donation to my project, it has impacted us greatly.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Kim
