My students will now have access to books at all reading levels. This is important because it helps them grow as readers daily. I am challenging them to become better readers each day. Since my students are at various reading levels and each have different needs in the classroom, this project will provide my students with adequate books on every level. My students don't have access to many books at home, so I try to provide many books of different levels and interest bases. I also have chosen non-fiction books that can teach them things about history and science while they are reading. Our daily schedule consists of reading/language arts and math. If they are able to read stories about history and science, they will become well rounded students. Math is important part of our day. My students are in need of personal clocks to help them to practice telling time. Students learn best when their are able to use manipulatives and have hands on experiences with the standards that they are expected to master.
