Organization Options
Funded Nov 16, 2022By funding my project, you helped to organize my classroom, my students, and me! I am grateful for your generosity, and the items that we were able to receive through this project. Organizing our stations and escape room activities has helped save time for my students and myself.
A project that I have posted right now is for books! I would love to expand my classroom reading nook with more books that I know students will enjoy! I have added titles that my students were excited about when I asked them to look through websites like Epic! and Tumblebooks! I would love to see this project get funded.”

Funded Nov 16, 2022The funding from this project allowed my students to have an enjoyable time during earned Fun Fridays! We are a PBIS school, and I believe in allowing my students to decide how they celebrate their reward time. My students have loved being able to play boardgames and art items as a reward.
Currently, we are going to be utilizing items from another project to create a painting! My students love painting and being artistic! I can't wait to see what the new art projects look like!
Thank you for the generous donation!”

Funded Aug 26, 2022The items that were purchased with the funding of this project have been so helpful in my classroom! My students are able to keep their supplies organized in the colored caddies throughout the day. Stations have been a lot easier to manage since having the durable zipper pouches, and the students are able to carry the supplies around the room to work easier together if needed. The clipboards and clipboard holder have been so helpful! My students love to use the clipboards around the room as they work on their assignments. The laminating sheets have also been so helpful to keep my task cards durable while the kids are using them. Thank you so much for your support to my classroom.”

Funded Nov 23, 2021My students have loved reading the books that were purchased through this project! I have also used several of the books to help teach lessons on perseverance and problem solving.
The set of Girls Who Code chapter books that were funded through this project have been a huge hit with my girls especially, but even some of my boys have read them, and enjoyed them! We have done some coding in my classroom with Ozobots, and they enjoyed being about to make connections between them and the characters in the chapter books.
I am grateful for the generosity shown by the donors when funding projects for classrooms. The benefits that the teachers and students receive is amazing.”

Funded Mar 9, 2022I am very thankful for the funding of this project. Social-Emotional lessons occur daily within my classroom; however, when I am able to connect the lesson to an activity or art project, my students do much better recalling the lessons and the skills learned. Through activities and art, my students are able to identify emotions and strategies, and make connections to themselves and their daily lives. The color printer in this project has been helpful in making copies of activities and handouts for lessons taught.
My students have enjoyed completing projects where they are able to be creative and share things about themselves through their art and other activities. My students have also enjoyed the social-emotional learning lessons when I make a connection between the lesson of the week, and a book! I have found that my students really enjoy the Little Spot book series by Diane Alber. The teachers guides make projects easy because they give ideas and activities for all of Alber's books. Thank you so much for donating to this project.”

Funded Mar 14, 2022The Teachers Pay Teachers resources that I was able to purchase with your amazing generosity were so fun for my students! I purchased several resources that are STEM based or writing based, and relate to holidays. My students really enjoyed making the Haunted Houses and writing about them! The other resources I was able to purchase were a very large grammar set for our weekly stations. The set gives a weekly lesson, grammar notebook connection, and station piece, which are all so beneficial for my students! Thank you so much for helping my give my students resources!”

Books for SEI Lessons
Funded Jan 24, 2022Thank you for your gracious donation to my project! I am thank for that I am able to give the lessons that I am able to with the books that were purchased through this project. Social Emotional education is so important, especially for those of us that are in the classroom after COVID! With the books that were purchased through your donations, I have been able to attach the stories to a lesson and then a craft! My students have shown so much growth in many SEI areas because of the lessons that I am teaching around these books. Thank you again for your funding of my project.”

Funded Nov 23, 2021The Novelink photo boxes have been a GAME CHANGER for my students during station time! I asked for the clear boxes for math stations, and the rainbow boxes for reading. This was an organization strategy because we follow "The Painless, Plan-less Guide to Grammar and there is a color coding for each grammar area (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc). I have labeled each individual photo box with my label maker so the tasks are easier for my students to find. The bins are located in an area of the classroom where all students can locate and utilize them.
Once I showed my students the process of locating the task cards, they have loved getting the boxes out and helping keep them organized! The color coding has helped as well because it helps the students remember the task at hand, especially for grammar.
We have just started our space unit for Science and Writing! I am excited for the students to learn about each planet and other space bodies, and then each will be assigned a particular item in space and they will create a project. We will also be doing some art projects!”

Funded Nov 23, 2021I originally chose the bookcases to begin organizing my classroom library. However, sadly, the bookcases were too small for my students and all of the book bins I have. I ended up giving the bookcases to one of our preschool rooms that is down the hall from our classroom! The bookcases are working great for the preschool classroom and kids!
Originally, my students were really excited to have new bookcases, but when they didn't work out, they tried to help me problem solve! It was actually one of my student's ideas to see if preschool or kindergarten could use them! Such a great idea!
We are starting our big space unit soon! I am excited to have my students research and complete art projects about space!”

Funded Jan 3, 2022The snow globe adventure writing was a HUGE success! To help my students brainstorm for the assignment, I read three books out loud to the class. The students were asked to write down words that gave detail to snow, snowy weather, or activities that people do in the snow! My students were very excited to begin writing, and used the brainstorming activity to help them write extremely creative stories!
After writing their stories, students created their background for their snow globe picture! When I showed my students the fake snow and bowl that would be used to make their pictures look like real snow globes, they were so excited! My students loved this project so much, and it will definitely be a project that I do for years to come!
As we near the end of the year, we have a lot of testing coming up, both state and district. However, we are going to start our big outer space unit! This is always something that the kids love! At the end of the unit, we will be doing several different art projects that I am excited about, and I know that my students will be too!”
