I have the best students in the world. I have the unique opportunity to hand pick my students. Each one of my students is selected because they have been identified as a student who may need a little extra assistance to get to a dual credit class. I get to teach my students two years in a row and build their reading and writing skills so they are prepared to take the leap into college life. Because of this, I build amazing relationships with my students and have the pleasure of seeing how much they grow over two years. As a teacher of juniors and seniors, I get to assist in the process of college admittance through ACT prep, college letters, resumes, and applications. Getting to help students apply everything they learn in English class to the real world is an immeasurable gift. I teach students from all over the city of Louisville, with a variety of cultural backgrounds. I wouldn't change a thing and love my Job!
