  • Super Spheros!

    Funded Jun 9, 2024

My students were so excited for our new codable robots! I showed them off on the first day of school when we were talking about things they we are going to do in science this year. The apps were easy to download and available on the student devices. We work in groups of three when we get the STEM activities out. We have started discussing the basics of coding the robots and how to care for them. The hard cases are so nice and are going to be lifesavers! And to top it off, the Spheros came with their own little bowling pins and orange cones to create challenges for the students to complete as well. We are so excited to use the Spheros this year and it is all thanks to your generosity.”

  • Brain Power

    Funded May 8, 2024

Thank you so much yet again for being generous with your donations. We love the items that we received. The mints and stress balls are such a good way to lower test anxiety and allow students an outlet in a structured setting. The students started benchmark testing this week and they have loved getting the mints before we start. We have plently so that we can continue to use mints for other testing situations as well. The stress balls always go over well with students and they often times do not even realize that they are squeezing them while working. Thank you again for helping me to make my classroom better!”

  • In Our Yearbook Era

    Funded Mar 27, 2024

Thank you so much for your donations! Unfortunately we had a difficult time finding a lens to fit the camera that we use for the yearbook. We tried two different ones that on paper, had the correct measurements, but were not the correct fits. So, since it was testing season, the students were going to be taking their big end-of-year assessment in May. We had to find replacement items and went with things that the students could benefit from immediately. The bags were used at each student's seat each day for sweet treats, peppermints, stress balls and gum to help them stay focused and encouraged during their three days of testing. There were enough treats that students' bags were refilled each day of testing. The charging block provided an option for students with low batteries to remain at their seats for testing instead of sitting in the back of the room without a table while charging. The yearbook helpers were rewarded with camera keychains attached to a photo that they each had taken for all of their assistance. Thank you again for your generosity!!”

  • New Year, New Needs

    Funded Jan 2, 2024

Thank you for the donations towards the materials for our classroom. We immediately put the memory cards to use in the camera to work on finishing the yearbook. Each student that participated as a yearbook helper had their own memory card to take pictures with. One such picture was then auctioned off at our school's annual Arts Gala, with profits going towards a new lens for our camera. The new lights were. used on our main bulletin board and added brightness to an otherwise darker area of the classroom. They looked great. Also, we read Mr. Popper's Penguins as a class and it was so nice to be able to pass out some copies of the books to students that benefitted from having a copy in front of them while they listened. Thank you so much for your generosity and further support for my classroom!!”

  • Excellent Essentials

    Funded Dec 4, 2023

Thank you so much yet again for your continued support of our classroom. We have used the snacks in our daily snack bin, to be used for any student that does not bring something small with them to eat during the morning break. The pens have been used with students checking and reflecting on work, as well as adding some added coloring and emphasis in their math notebooks. The students loved having a sweet incentive with the gummy worms on a math review activity. The keyboard has been helpful when creating Cricut titles for their Titanic museum group projects and allowed them an opportunity to create a little easier. Thank you again for your generous donations!”

  • BrainPop Brain Power!

    Funded Nov 27, 2023

I cannot thank you enough for donating towards our BrainPop subscription. We use it almost daily in math, science, social studies, and english/ language arts. The students are so engaged and it makes explaining difficult concepts a little bit easier. The students are able to watch the videos and we have the option to complete additional activities, reading passages, and games that go along with the lessons. This, by far, has been the most impactful project that I have gotten funded this year and I could not have done it without your help!”

    With gratitude,

  • Fundraising Fun

    Funded Sep 28, 2023

Thank you donors for your contributions for our coffee cart! We have already opened all of the boxes of cups to add to our cart. These purchases have been so helpful in adding to our weekly profit. The organizers have made everything much easier when preparing orders and getting them delivered. The students are growing more confident each time with reading the orders, putting them together, delivering, and collecting the money. Thank you so much for all of your help, it means so much. Every little bit helps when earning money towards our end-of-the-year trip!”

  • Show Your Smart Brains

    Funded Mar 12, 2023

Thank you for your generosity. We had a fantastic testing window this past spring! The students were so excited to receive their testing bags each morning of the week. They were given a bag with the mints, candy, and mechanical pencils. They were refilled each day when the students left. Then I returned the filled bags again each morning before testing. Students were able to keep their bags at the end of the week once testing concluded. The pencil sharpener was desperately needed for my classroom and is still going strong!”

  • More for '24!

    Funded Jul 21, 2023

Thank you so much for your donations! We love the new lights in the classroom. The kids compliment them all the time. They also provide a nice confidence boost every-time they leave the room, reminding them how awesome they are. The new games have been a hit during indoor recess. They love the magnetic tiles and five second rule game. It is great to pull out anytime that we have a spare couple minutes to give the students a brain break. We also added our new stickers to the reward station. Students have started earning those already too. Thank you again for helping improve our start to the school year!”

  • Back to Basics

    Funded Jul 18, 2023

Thank you again for your generosity and your donations. We have had a great start to the school year. The supplies have already been put to great use. The bright paper has been great for beginning of year copies and permission slips. We're taking a field trip next week! We have used the large Post-It easel paper to make study posters for math and science. We have also used most of the number stickers to label our folders, math books, and reading books for this year. This provides a much faster transition when getting materials off our group shelves. Thank you so much for all of the materials. The markers and pens have been in use, as well as the pencil bags. Your donations go so far, I am so appreciative!!”
