• Designing Video Games and Promoting Through Social Media Marketing Campaign

  Thank you so much for your generous contribution to our video game project! Your support has helped me bring the video game project to life and I truly appreciate your belief in what we are creating.

  Through your donation, I was able to teach my students about the stories that make up video games, as well as marketing. The students very much enjoyed coming up with their own characters as well as other elements, such as the setting and the plot, and the beginning, middle and end to the stories. They also learned about how best to advertise their newly created video games.

• Building Algorithms With LEGO

  We are using these Legos to teach algorithms in an engaging hands-on way. The students are thrilled to build, test, and problem solve with these materials and it's incredible to see their excitement as they bring abstract ideas to life. These lessons foster not only critical thinking and collaboration but also a deeper appreciation for stem topics.

• Personal Finance Through Storytelling

  Everyday in the classroom, educators are looking for fresh new ways to keep students interested in our lessons and engaged academically. This lesson with board games was very fun and engaging for my students.

  Thank you so much for your donation. My students really appreciated a change of pace in the classroom. They will now use the stories that they created using the board games to write a story with characters, setting, and plot.

  As a teacher, I noticed the positive shift with my students as soon as the board games were brought out. Hadn't played board games since they were little. It was in very enjoyable day for them and they asked to have a board game day at least once a month.”

• Mental Health Project

  Thank you so much for your very generous donation! Because of this donation my students were able to do in depth research regarding their future.They explored career information, college and vocational school requirements, as well as cost and locations of schools. With the iPad, my students are able to research careers, explore job markets, and learn about educational pathways they might not have considered before.

  It was especially wonderful to see the students working together. Often I noticed that through conversation they would find new things to search for and I could see their excitement as they found careers they were interested in and that were achievable. The iPad enhanced student learning and helped my students prepare for their future. Your gift will have a lasting impact and will shape my student's futures.
