  • Love To Learn

    After receiving our document camera, our students were able to portray their work and model examples for their peers. As the teacher, I was able to model my work examples, show common misconceptions and edit right in front of my students eyes! This technology helped my students become more confident in their work and even push them to share their work as well. Technology is not readily available in our school and many of our SmartBoards do not work. Having a document camera has been a great asset to our classroom, especially because the SmartBoard is not always working!”

I am the Middle School Math Special Education teacher at PS/IS 180 Hugo Newman College Preparatory School in Harlem, NY. I am also the girls' varsity basketball coach. My goal is to reach each student by stimulating his/her interest in learning! This can be achieved especially through sports!
