I teach at a predominantly low income school where every student receives free lunch and breakfast daily. We have a diverse population in which many of our students do not speak English. Due to their socioeconomic status, many families are not able to supply the basic items needed in the classroom. With their limited backgrounds, providing as much creativity in the classroom is essential.
