As a World, US History, and European History teacher, we often discuss some of the most interesting, unique, and beautiful sites all over our country and the world. While showing pictures of these places to my students is a start, there’s nothing like really being there. While I can’t actually take my students to Buddhist shrines in Bangkok or the Versailles Palace in France, virtual reality allows me to take my students to these places from the comfort of their own school desks. I already have access to the electronic devices and applications that I need for these expeditions, but I lack access to the most important part . . . the VR headsets! Your donation could enhance the learning in my classroom and allow my students to really feel like they are leaving our corner of the world to see what else is out there!
