  • Let's Build a Library

    Funded Oct 30, 2019

Thank you so much for this wonderful opportunity to help my class! We were so happy when we found out that our classroom was going to be getting a makeover! The children were so happy to learn that they would be getting additional books for our classroom library. When the box arrived, you could feel the excitement in the air. We will be using these books each day during our 15 minutes of independent reading as well as books for their books baggies to go home everynight. As students progress and move to a higher reading level, there are now books available to meet their needs. Your generosity has made and will continue to make a huge difference for my students. Class 5-311 cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for us.”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Reformato

  • Wiggle while we Work

    Funded Oct 30, 2019

Our students were so excited when we told them that our Donor's Choose project had been funded. We showed the students the three new Wobble chairs we would be receiving in the mail. We will be using them during our small group instruction. The three wobble chairs will be a great asset to help students who have difficulty focusing. The students have been leaning, rocking, and spinning the bottom with their feet. This allows them to pay attention without interrupting the lesson. We want to thank you so much for thinking of us and for your generous donation.”

  • VersaTile Learners!

    Funded Oct 14, 2019

Thank you so much for your very generous donations. My awesome students were so excited when the VersaTiles packaged arrived!

VersaTiles has brought a new way of learning to my classroom. We use VersaTiles as a method of stationing teaching as well as independent supplemental work when students completed their assignments and are waiting for their peers to finish.

We love our VersaTiles so much we are hoping to get the language arts workbooks as well to incorporate into our reading lessons!

Thank you for helping me help my students with having access to a new and fun way of learning. Math just got so much more exciting!”

Help me give my students a variety of books in their classroom library they can use to grow and progress their reading skills and abilities. I am asking for different leveled books for the start of our classroom library. As a first-year teacher, I would like to create a classroom library for my students that have a wide variety of genres. Providing my students with a range of levels will allow this library to be accessible to every type of reader in my classroom. The classroom library supports literacy instruction, helps students to learn about books, provides a central location for classroom resources, provides opportunities for independent reading, and it's a place where students can interact and visit with each other about their favorite books
