I like to think of my classroom as controlled chaos. I love for the students to be up moving around and engaged as much as possible. Although I love the days where we have crazy messy learning and everyone is having fun and engaged in their learning, we also have the reality of that not always being the case. I work in a behavioral intervention program that is usually deemed the dumping ground for uncontrollable behaviors, however, I would rather say it is for the extra special chosen ones that I get the privilege of working with. My students may take a little extra loving and a little extra support, but they are just as deserving of a safe, fun, and engaging classroom environment as everyone else and that is my goal.
