These bean bags, pillows, and rug will give my students a place where they can relax with a good book. This center would be used when a student may finish an assignment early. This would be an enriching way to spend the rest of the remaining time. It could also be used for instruction when going over key ideas and supporting details. This area would also be used for when the students are role-playing. An area designated specifically for literacy, comfort and imagination. I know my students would love sit back while a book is being read to them. I want to give my students an alternative to coloring or watching a video when they've finished their lesson early. With the pillows they would have the option lean against the wall while sitting on the rug reading.
