In yearbook, as in the corporate world, success depends on a team of people working together to produce a unified product. Yearbook echoes the corporate world in that the staff includes positions that many corporations also have: CEO, CFO, marketing manager, copywriter, photojournalist and editor. The unit will be focus on students think critically about what they’ve learned in yearbook and how it relates to the “real world.” Students will capture the most memorable moments of their year. They need 4 digital cameras to capture those moments that will become part of the year book. They will focus on several activities throughout the semester. Among them are, Planning for Club Photos and Sport Teams, Storytelling Photos, in this lesson, students continue learning how to communicate effectively through a visual medium — photography.
