    Funded Mar 2, 2022

Thank you soo much for helping with this project.

The manipulatives we have recieved have helped soo much. The kids love making words with the letter blocks. They have shown soo much progress with all the hands on math games!

Some of my students love the math and motor skills games soo much they beg to work in order to earn game time. It has been soo amazing to see them grow not only academically but also behaviorally all the whole enhancing their fine motor skills.

I cannot say thank you enough ! This will continue to make positive changes for future students !”

  • Supplies For Success

    Funded Dec 2, 2020

Thank you so much for your kind donations. Having a color printer in our classroom has allowed us to print activities for our students who are in person and remote. It has greatly improved our ability to create materials for our students with vision impairments and those who need color pictures in order to access education meaningfully . The laminant and velcro has been wonderful and has allowed us to make individual hands on activities for our students. Which is greatly important for our students learning, and for their health and safety during this pandemic.

The construction paper has helped us create fun hands on activities to help drive home phonics and math concepts taught throughout the day.

It has changed our ability to create things for our students, and improvise to meet their needs throughout the day.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ponnambalam

  • Sensory, Science, and Math!

    Funded Feb 12, 2018

Thank you so much for your support. These materials have made great improvement in the environment of my classroom. The students get so excited to sit on the ball chairs, or use the sensory bands! Because of them, the students are able to focus better during class, and subsequently have been more patient with each other, and with themselves while learning.

The students also take pride in tending to the window gardens, and have made great strides in understanding how things grow.

Your gifts to our classroom have made such a big difference in the lives of my students and continue to do so every day.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Ponnambalam

My students are learning academic skills such as science and math, as well as functional daily living skills including self regulation, cooking, hygiene, cleaning and plant care. My students love to learn, but many of them become over or under stimulated throughout the school day, preventing them from staying focused on the curriculum. They need tools to help them self regulate so that they will be ready to learn. The yoga ball, bean bag chairs, and kinetic sand will give my class the sensory input that they need in order to actively participate within the school environment. The window gardens are a hands on way for my students to take care of plants, which teaches them responsibility. Watching the plants grow healthy and strong is a motivational way to teach patience, pride in their work, and compassion. It builds into our science curriculum and the nutritional component of our daily living skills. Because my students are learning at different grade levels, the white boards allow the flexibility to differentiate and personalize my lessons to meet the individual needs of each child, especially during math.
