• Learning About Butterflies

  Thank you for helping me with your donations to bring caterpillars into our classroom! My students have been fascinated by the life cycle of a butterfly and in the process the life cycle of other animals too! I have the caterpillars in an area where my students can see them whenever they want with magnifying glasses and models of each of the stages! Seeing my students faces oh how caterpillars have quadrupled in size in a few days was very exciting! As well as how magical and confusing it is when they saw them become cocoons! Everything about the life cycle of a butterfly has been exciting to my students and extremely a learning experience!”

• Our Community & Our Earth

  Thank you for making this project come to live! Because of your donations, we made bird feeders, we have planted many different types of seeds, we have picked up trash from around our school, and most important we have learned how to take care of our Earth and our community! With each of these things we have done we learned how to do something new that helps Earth and our community! We have learned to appreciate living things like birds, animals, plants, and other people! With these materials, we have been able to make our Earth a better place and take care of it too!

• Learning Through Play

  Huge thank you for funding this project for my kindergartners! These learning games have been an amazing addition to our math centers! They have helped review, reinforce, or learned the concepts of addition, subtraction, greater than, and less than. The learning game is fun for them too because they put a card of what they need to do, they flip the quantity of the number they have on their card, (so no loosing pieces) if it's addition they do the quantity of the other number too and then they count the total and that's their answer! Then I have them tell me the number sentence! So, I love these new learning games for my students! Thank you again for making this possible!”

• Snacks and Treats

  Huge thank you again for helping me provide healthier snacks for my kindergartners as well as bamboo paper towels that absorb way better than what we have provided at school! I appreciate your dedication and support to education. Without you none of this would be possible! It is a humongous help to be able to provide snacks everyday to my students. They are hungry after PE and when you are hungry you don't have interest in any stuff. With a snack I can have them focus and have them learn! So, thank you for bringing this project alive!”

• Clean and Prepared

  Thank you so much for your donations that got us paper towels and soap for our kindergarten classroom! Sadly, our paper towels that are being provided hardly absorb anything and we end up wasting so much! So with our new paper towels we use a one or two and the spill is fast cleaned! Not only are we using less to clean but we are learning about the importance of not being wasteful! Also, thank you for the hand soap! There are times that we run out of soap in our classroom bathroom and because we are short staff that someone can't replenish the soap until later that day so you are helping us with a backup!

• Number Knowledge!

  Thank you again for helping me provide different math related hands-on materials for my kindergartners to learn and relate to math! I want them to understand that what we learn is in our everyday and how important it is and how we do math even when we don't know or notice. I want them to be fully have the concept of numbers. I don't want them to memorize but instead the why. I am trying for them to have a strong base in math for their rest of their lives and I know if I can make it relatable to them that they will understand a concept better and will stick with them!”

• Financial Literacy in Kindergarten

  In kindergarten, financial education focuses on basic concepts such as understanding numbers, the value of money, distinguishing between wants and needs, and beginning to grasp saving and spending. So because of you we have been able to learn in different ways with visuals and hands-on materials. We have been able to relate it more to our everyday and why math is so important. Being able to provide a watch for each of my students has been a great success because they are understanding and recognizing numbers better because they can relate to it. We learn about money by relating it to things that they want to buy and what they can obtain or not. So, again thank you for making this possible and your generosity to education! I appreciate you all a ton!”

• Kindergartners Do Stem

  Huge thank you again for helping us obtain STEM materials for our kindergarten classroom! With STEM it has helped with their imagination, engineering, collaboration, communication skills, problem solving, science knowledge, and math skills. With these materials we have increased our vocabulary and our knowledge! They have been exposed with things that they weren't before! They are learning and communicating to build together and ask each other questions that broadens their knowledge. My students love the animals, the marbles, and gemstones. They love and get excited when they get to do these activities.”

• Help Us See

  Thank you so much for helping me bring a color into our kindergarten classroom! I am able to print different materials for our centers related to math, financial literacy, literacy, language arts, science and social studies. It makes a huge difference for kindergartners to engage them when things are in color! You can see the material clearer and it comes to live for them! I have been able to print in color and then I get it laminated so it will last a longer period for many years to come! So, again thank you for helping us print in color for my kindergartners!”
