iScream, You Scream, We All Scream for iPads
Funded Dec 26, 2014Thank you so much for all of your donations to this project!
The help that iPads can provide for my students with autism cannot be fully explained- it's a communication device, a learning tool, a motivator, and so much more. I will be able to help them share their thoughts and feelings, as well as use this as a tool for practicing new academic skills.
They are going to be so thrilled to receive these two new iPads, as you will see in our final thank you notes and photos. Thank you so much again.”

Centers for Sensational Kindergartners!
Funded May 8, 2014Thank you so much for helping my class to get some new centers! The kids love them so much. We use them on a daily basis during literacy and math centers- it's one of my students' favorite parts of the day. They are very independent with these centers (which is amazing in Kindergarten) and I can see how it is deepening their understanding of the skills and content. The variety of centers you helped us purchase also makes it so simple for me to differentiate centers for my students so that they are learning on a level that is just right for them.
We love our new centers!”

Funded Aug 3, 2013Thank you so much for your donations to our project!
The kids were so excited when the boxes arrived full of craft materials. We had a great time unpacking the boxes together. Right away they started asking about projects that we could do with the new materials. We talked together about things we could do with each material- they came up with some great ideas!
So far we have decorated pumpkins and done lots of painting. We also use the Play-Doh almost every day, sometimes in a math center, sometimes in creative play. I can't wait to do a Martin Luther King Jr. project with them next week- we'll use the paint as well as the multicultural paper to make some beautiful social artwork for that project.
It's been so amazing to see my students blossom when they get to participate in creative activities. Sometimes as teachers, we don't get a chance to see the imaginative side of our students with all the rigorous work that even Kindergrtners have to do these days. I love making time for my students to use their imaginations and get hands-on time. It makes them more relaxed and helps them grow each time.”

iPads for Fantastic Kindergartners with Special Needs!
Funded Nov 22, 2012I can't begin to express how thankful I am to have such a wonderful opportunity. To Donor's choose, thank you for providing me with the resources to support my students. Without your website, I would not have been able purchase such a great tool. To all of the Donors, how can I possibly thank you enough? My students will forever be impacted by the benefits the iPad can provide. They are so thrilled and excited to use them. It motivates them to learn every single day.
I've wanted to purchase an iPad for my students for over two years now. Research has shown how strong of an impact technology like the iPad can have on a student's education. Because of all of you, I will now be able to use the applications on the iPad to better instruct my students.
Thank you, Thank you for making this possible.”
