I teach 3rd grade at a low income school, in Lodi, CA. The majority of our students are English Language Learners, or migrant farm works, and are on Free and Reduced Lunch. Out of my 24 students, I have 18 who are English Learners, (English being their second language). In order to bring learning alive for my kids, I'm constantly needing to front load our curriculum, since they don't have a large English vocabulary, or a lot of life experience to draw upon. Please help me, help these students, become life long learners!!
