We are in a small community where most of the students live on farms and come from mostly Spanish speaking homes. They live far from any town and rarely experience the world outside the community which only includes one small street of businesses. In each class we have small class sizes with a needy population of students requiring assistance. In my class alone I have four distinct groups of students that I work hard at preparing appropriate lessons and still engaging them in our lessons. Currently I have a very small group way above grade level, a small group at grade level, a group below grade level and another group way below grade level. In order to spark each of their interests while still focusing on their needs I work hard in each subject to make sure it is possible. Although with the minuscule library I have it's hard to hold their attention and keep them interested.
